1875 Engraving, Warwick Castle, from the West [Warwickshire, England]

Matted to 7 1/4 x 10 1/2 (mat measures 11 3/4 x 14 1/4). Illegible engraver's mark in lower left corner. An artistic rendering of the west wall of Warwick Castle. Originally built by William the Conqueror, it has undergone numerous structural and functional changes in its lifetime. It withstood siege during the English Civil War, and remains among the more well-known fortified structures in England.
