Series of photographic illustrations of various sections of this Moorish portion of Spain, focusing on impressive buildings and agricultural scenes. Printed during the Spanish Civil War - the preface notes 'Many of the Andalusian cities illustrated here have been exposed to grave risk of damage and destruction during the present Civil War. The final image is of the Heinz factory in Seville, captioned, 'Where the Queen Olives and Manzanillas are cured - and others of the 57 are made.' This should be of renewed interest given the recent purchase of the Heinz company by Warren Buffett.
