Fisher Unwin in 1914, with a new foreword by Sir Vivian Fuchs. A first-hand account by one of the members of the northern party of Robert F. Scott's second and final Antarctic expedition, during which Scott and the party with whom he reached the South Pole perished. Priestley was one of two geologists assigned to the expedition, along with six other scientists, to gather and analyze scientific data.
