His Text book appeared in six British editions between 1858 and 1868. Which of the several undated American editions is the first is unclear. The book's final appearance in the United States appears to be the 1894 Philadelphia edition. It was also published at Cincinnati in 1871 under the title: Popular guide to homoeopathy, for family and private use."
