Regular price $ 35.00
[vi], 389 pp. The complete Ayn Rand Letter, comprising four full volumes of the fortnightly newsletter, which ran from 1971-1976 and was edited by Leonard Peikoff, a friend of Ayn Rand and a fellow proponent of Objectivist philosophy. Rand named Peikoff the legal heir to her estate, and he continues to manage the copyrights for her various works and arrange for the editing and publication of previously unprinted material. This newsletter followed two others, The Objectivist Newsletter (1962-1965) and The Objectivist (1966-1971). Topics discussed include the merits of philosophy (an essay included here entitled Philosophy: Who Needs It would later be printed separately); though control; the energy crisis; the relationship of government to society and culture; censorship; egalitarianism and inflation; foreign aid; pragmatism; and the Vietnam War.
