A collection of poetry by Robert Penn Warren, who won the Pulitzer Prize for the Novel in 1947 for All the King's Men, and the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry twice, in 1958 and 1979. To date, he is the only individual to receive both awards. As a literary critic, he was one of the founders of New Criticism. He co-founded the literary journal The Southern Review, and he was associated with a group of poets known as the Fugitives, and a group of writers called the Southern Agrarians.
