A collection of interviews about poetry, which includes the Ginsberg interviews from the 1968 book of the same name, plus additional material from other interviews with: David Ossman; Charles Tomlinson; John Sinclair and Robin Eichele; Linda Wagner; Brendan O'Regan and Tony Allan; Lewis MacAdams; Douglas Flaherty and James Bradford; Michael Andre. Creeley is generally associated with the Black Mountain poets, despite his verse displaying a style somewhat different from most members of that group. He was friends with a number of other influential poets of his day, including Charles Olson, Robert Duncan, Allen Ginsberg, John Wieners and Ed Dorn.
