1663 pp. A comprehensive Latin-English lexicon, adapted from Dr. William Freund's Latin-German lexicon, with additions and corrections. Compiled by a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, a Whig who worked as a lexicographer and educator. Freund's work was itself a translation of Egidio Forcellini's 1771 dictionary. Andrews's work is now known simply as Andrews' Lexicon, though later versions were retitled Harper's Latin Dictionary.
