xiv, 459-738 pp. The main text of this volume is identical with the Keys and Descriptions in the second volume of the revised edition of The Birds of Minnesota, issued by the University of Minnesota Press in 1936. The Life Zone Map occurring on page 59 of the first volume of the larger work is here reproduced in smaller form as a frontispiece. A systematic list of the birds of Minnesota as at present known has been added. A few of the rare and accidental species included in this list are not included in the keys and descriptions.--Preface
