A Walk with Me

Unpaginated. Gwen Frostic had a personal and very characteristic writing style. Her texts remind the reader of poetry, although she was writing prose; in other words, it is a poetry-like prose. In this 1958 work, Frostic takes the reader on an imaginary stroll with her in Michigan's unique natural world. Beautifully illustrated, as always, with the author's original linoleum-block prints of woodland scenes, trees, wildflowers, animals, and birds, this volume's every word and every sketch demonstrates Frostic's deep love of the world around her.
