Illustrated on endpapers with scenes from the photoplay starring John Gilbert and Greta Garbo. The photoplay was entitled 'Love', a silent film directed by Edmund Goulding designed to capitalize on the romantic success of Gilbert and Garbo the previous year in Flesh and the Devil.
