Hennessy (1930 - 2013) was a prominent Connecticut jurist who served on the state's Appellate Court. Appointed as a Juvenile Court Judge by Governor Ella Grasso in 1976, he spent 36 years on the bench, eventually serving as the state's Chief Administrative Judge for Family Matters. After his retirement from the Appellate Court, Hennessy remained active in Connecticut's legal and academic communities.
