Confederate War Etchings

Loose prints in hardcover binder. Originally self-published 1862-1864 in two series offered on a subscription basis only by a Baltimore physician. This set of etchings features extremely inflammatory pro-Confederate imagery and rhetoric, and the production and distribution of these prints eventually led to Volck's arrest and imprisonment at Fort McHenry. Original prints almost never come to market, and this reissue of the collection is also quite scarce.
