A collection of 31 color plates reproduced from Ruscha's works, published in conjunction with an exhibition at Robert Miller Gallery in New York. Also includes a photographic portrait of Ruscha by Narit Wilde, and an essay by Peter Schjeldahl. Ruscha is a major figure in the American pop art movement who works in several different media. This collection highlights his paintings of phrases, which evolved from his paintings of monosyllables and other single words in the 1960s.
