Series I [1].","description":"Forty half-tone images photographically reproduced from original photographs, and copper plate etchings by various artists. In 1888, two enterprising young men, Edmond Osborne and Thomas D. Murphy, purchased a woodcut of the Montgomery County Courthouse that was under construction at the time. To offset the expense of the woodcut, they decided to sell advertising around the picture and add a calendar pad. Because of their venture, Red Oak became known as the birthplace of the art calendar industry. The business became a major industry in Red Oak, with hundreds of employees and salesmen and a branch in London. Murphy also continued as publisher of The Red Oak Express.","brand":"The Osborne \u0026 Murphy Company, Art Publishers","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":42801886724166,"sku":"2348811","price":75.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1232\/9510\/files\/2348811.jpg?v=1743779187","url":"https:\/\/ym-demo.myshopify.com\/products\/forty-etchings-on-copper-reproduced-from-the-most-noted-examples-of-modern-art-and-photographs-of-english-landscapes-series-i-2","provider":"Yesterday's Muse","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
