Her limousine runs down Mark Devens, a penniless inventor, and she takes him to her home to recuperate. There she becomes interested in his invention and gets Dicky Burnett, a wealthy idler who loves her, to lend her the money to finance the invention, they both becoming Mark's "silent partners."
