The classic story of the March sisters, which was an immediate success and led to two sequels, as well as numerous adaptations to stage and screen. This volume incorporates the first and second parts, which were published under the same title in the United States. In England, though, the title of the sequel was sometimes Good Wives, and sometimes Little Women: Wedded. An early UK example of the two works in one volume (the earliest we found was Sampson Low Marston's edition from the 1890s).
