The Golden Age of Detective story writing was from 1920 to 1940. Part I includes 12 stories by various well-known authors including Agatha Christie, Dashiell Hammett, and Ellery Queen, and is 351 pages long. Part II has 16 stories and is also 351 pages long and includes work from Earl Stanley Garner and David Frome. There is an Introduction by Ellery Queen to the book, and a short bio of each of the authors preceding their story.
