Complete in five volumes. Green cloth, gilt titles. Translated from the original German and French by Mrs. Alexander Napier and Gerard W. An autobiography by the Austrian prince, which includes contemporary firsthand accounts of Napoleon Bonaparte and the Empress Josephine, and the July Revolution (also known as the French Revolution of 1830, or the Second French Revolution, which overthrew King Charles X). The original work was published in two volumes covering 1773-1815, to which Metternich then added additional content which comprised another two-volume set (1815-1829), and finally a fifth volume with accounts of the years 1830-1835.
