A combination of natural history, firsthand accounts of colonial America, and reference guide to herbal medicine, providing some of the earliest and most complete information on New England's flora and fauna. His work was later praised by Henry David Thoreau. Sabin 36675 notes "Seventy-five copies printed on medium and twenty-five on large paper." This copy lists 'small quarto' on the copyright page, so our assumption is it is one of the other 150 copies.
