xviii, [4], 361, [5] pp. 8vo. Full black morocco, gilt titles and rules, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers. A long poem in blank verse, originally published in nine parts between 1742 and 1745. This edition includes the complete work, a biographical sketch of the author, and engraved illustrations by Thomas Stothard. This work was quite popular in its day, but became more so when William Blake provided illustrations for one of the editions printed in 1797.
