A decoratively bound edition of Baring-Gould's famous processional hymn, which was adopted by the Salvation Army, and later by the 1912 Progressive National Convention to support the nomination of Theodore Roosevelt in the presidential election. It was also chosen by Winston Churchill as part of a church service associated with his August 1941 meeting with FDR to agree on the Atlantic Charter (the basis for the modern United Nations). The music (not included in this edition) was written by Arthur Sullivan, and it became his most popular work.
