138 pp. Taken from the firsthand accounts of a lawman, gunfighter, and politician in Kansas and Oklahoma during the late 19th century who acquired several properties in the area during land rushes. While a U.S. Marshal he captured the outlaw Bill Doolin, earning him a reputation as one of Oklahoma's 'Three Guardsmen.' His memoirs were made into a 1915 film in which he starred as himself.
