xviii, 186, 24 pp. 12mo, bound in sixes. A work attempting to "sketch the outlines of a natural system of Pathology". This appears to be the first trade edition, and the second edition overall: according to the advertisement preceding the text, "Its First Edition was printed in the month of September, 1837... and, though never published, the proof-sheets of it were distributed... Hearing, however, that the work had been borrowed from, without acknowledgment, both in France and in England, the author determined on publishing a Second Edition of it." Appears quite scarce - none in the trade, no auction records.
