Readings in Contemporary Rhetoric

These 25 selections allow the reader to sample the multiple voices contributing to the creation of knowledge through rhetoric. Exposure to the theorists' ideas in their own words provides a richer, more meaningful understanding. While the same number of pages are devoted to each theorist, in some cases one lengthy essay is included that captures the core ideas of a theorist; in other instances, several examples are offered.
