The Aquatic Snails of the Family Hydrobiidae of Peninsular Florida

xv, 268 pp. A study of the zoogeography, systematics, and ecology of the fresh and brackish water snails of the family Hydrobiidae inhabiting peninsular Florida, designed to provide a basis for classification of the members of the family. The work treats thirty-five species representing ten genera, and a classification based on the morphology of the shell and the soft anatomy is proposed.
