xv, 171 pp. Original line drawings by Eldridge Hardie. Dana S. Lamb (1899-1986) was a New York City investment banker, avid angler and gifted writer. Lamb was best known for his fishing adventures in the northeastern U.S. and Atlantic Canada. He particularly loved fly fishing for Atlantic salmon. Lamb was a wealthy man who was involved in several fish and game clubs, and donated the proceeds of his books toward community and conservation efforts. Though sometimes hard to find, Lamb’s books are highly sought after and enjoyed by a dedicated group of outdoor book enthusiasts.
