215 pp. Illustrations, some in color, by the author. The author claims the ability to see the human aura, which he characterizes as 'psycho-magnetic radiation,' and explains how can use it to cure various ailments. He invented numerous devices and supplements with similarly dubious efficacy. Historical records suggest that White was somewhat prone to exaggeration (he claimed P.T. Barnum attempted to recruit him as an acrobat in his teen years, for instance), and later in life developed what sounds very similar to paranoid schizophrenia, accusing colleagues and members of the Board of Health of everything from sabotaging his business to murdering his silent partner.
