Notable as the first book published in Rochester, New York (Sabin 103847). Kenrick first published his work in London in 1753, and numerous editions appeared in the United States previous to E. Peck & Co.'s printing. Everard Peck (1791-1854) was a bookbinder, bookseller, printer and banker in Rochester. He co-founded the University of Rochester and the Rochester Orphan Asylum.
