Daniel Maichel was a German professor of philosophy, theology, logic, physics, rights and politics. He studied protestant theology in Tübingen and earned a master's degree in 1713. This is a brief sketch of philosophical topics in the area of metaphysics, which appears to have been prepared as part of Sigwart's work towards earning a degree.
